Anyone up for a game of checkers? Okay, how about a checkered nail art tutorial instead? Here is a fun little checkered pattern you can make it cute and punky or light and pretty. Use it as an accent or a full manicure.
Materials
Base and top coat
Polish in any color you choose
Nail art striper
Start by painting your nails the base color of your choice. I decided to use two shades. China Glaze's Beach Cruise‐r on my thumb, mid, and pinky, and Towel Boy Toy on my pointer and ring fingers.
With a nail art striper create a grid by drawing horizontal and vertical lines on your nail. If you don't have a nail art striper you can use a thin brush or a toothpick and polish.
Once, you've created your grid fill in every other box. Finish with a top coat and there you have a cute fun checkered design.
